Our home in Antigua Guatemala is a hopping off point for travelers seeking adventure and the pleasures of Guatemala. I have lived in the area for several years and offer visitors first-hand knowledge of where to go and what to see, the right guides to use and advice about sights travelers might enjoy based on their interests.
The villa is a short five-minute walk or two minute taxi ride from the centre of town. During the day Antigua Guatemala is a hub of tourism and commerce. Chicken buses abound as a means of low cost transportation in the area.
At the Villa we organize and arrange daily activities for our visitors. Or in advance we can plan 3 or 5 days of activities, all depending on the travelers’ level of interest. Some activities can be physically challenging. A trip to Lake Atitlan for example which is about one mile above sea level can leave some travelers winded.
You will enjoy your time with and the goal is to offer honest and prudent advice to aid our visitors in having a full and fine adventure in Central America. If you are traveling on to either the north or south of Antigua or into other countries, I can offer suggestions for the next leg of your travel adventure.
